Judith Yarrow
Managing Editor
Judith has been managing editor of Northwest Public Health since 2001. In addition to her role as managing editor, Judith does editing and publication production for the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice at the UW School of Public Health and Community Medicine.
Judith also edits Transformations, a publication of the Turning Point
program, maintains the Turning Point Web site, and edits articles and
other publications related to Turning Point projects.
Judith has been managing editor of a number of other publications,
including Cultural Diversity at Work, a trade journal for
diversity trainers and managers; Spectrum, the newsletter of a
Seattle community development organization; and Adapt, a Japanese
employee-recruitment magazine. She has also designed and produced several
books, including Born Cree, a photo-essay biography of a Native
American, and the Powerful Schools Handbook. In addition, Judith
has written on a variety of topics, including workplace cultural
diversity, fishing, organic agriculture, corporate philanthropy,
community development, and education.
Judith received a Bachelor of Arts in Art from North Texas State University and a Master of Arts in Education from Pacific Lutheran University.
